AppFrame is a web app that turns any iOS app on the App Store into a launch announcement image for indie developers, small studios and makers who want to share a launch without opening a design tool.
Search an app by name or paste its App Store link or ID. AppFrame pulls in the icon, name, developer, rating and screenshots automatically, so there is nothing to upload.
Pick one of 20 themes and 9 fonts, show 1 to 3 iPhone mockups and edit the headline, tagline, app name and developer. Toggles control screenshots, description, rating, metadata and a QR code that points to the App Store page.
Export for Twitter / X (16:9), Instagram post (1:1), Instagram story (9:16), LinkedIn (1.91:1), Product Hunt (3:2), or let the layout fit the content. The result is a PNG ready to post, at 3x resolution with Pro.
A free read-only API and an MCP server let AI agents find an app, list themes and pricing, and hand the user a direct editor link. Details are in the developer docs.
General design tools such as Canva or Figma start from a blank canvas or a template that you fill in by hand. AppFrame starts from the App Store listing itself, so the icon, rating and real screenshots are already in place.
The flow is three steps: find the app, choose a style, download. There are no layers to align and no assets to export from Xcode or the simulator.
The free plan has no image limit and includes 5 themes and 4 fonts. Downloads carry a small watermark that Pro removes.
Pro costs $5 once and unlocks all 20 themes, all 9 fonts and 3x export for life. If it is not what you expected, you get a full refund within 7 days.
Besides the web editor, AppFrame publishes an OpenAPI spec, an MCP server and an llms.txt guide, with a documented limit of 60 requests per minute. Assistants can send users straight to the right editor page.
AppFrame is designed and developed by Simone Ruggiero, an independent iOS and web developer based in Naples, Italy who publishes his own apps on the App Store. He built AppFrame because designing a launch announcement took time better spent on the product; it is a one-person project, and every support message is read by him.
The free plan includes: Unlimited showcase images; 5 themes; 4 fonts; Basic PNG export; Watermark on downloads (@AppFrame in the center, appfra.me in the corner). Upgrading to Pro is a one-time Stripe checkout; after payment Pro is active on the email you used, with: No watermark on downloads; High-resolution PNG export (3x); All 20 themes (15 Pro-only); All 9 fonts (5 Pro-only); Lifetime access.

AppFrame reads the public App Store listing of the app you search: icon, name, developer, rating and screenshots are filled in automatically. You can still edit the headline, tagline, app name and developer name before downloading.
No. AppFrame searches the Apple App Store only, so it works with iOS apps. Android apps on Google Play are not supported.
Browsing the site and the examples is open to everyone. The editor that creates and downloads the image requires a Google sign-in.
